Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Pixi AI ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how our development team collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Pixi AI mobile application and its related services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 User Content
We collect the photos, images, videos, text prompts, and task settings you choose to submit for AI generation or editing, together with generated results and task status information. Uploaded photos and videos may contain your face or the faces of others. We process submitted content on our own servers only, under our team's control, and never send it to third-party AI services. Please submit content only when you have the necessary rights and permissions.
1.2 Face Data
- Collection: When you select or upload images or videos for AI image generation, AI video generation, or visual effects, we collect the facial information present in that content, together with the related prompts and task parameters required to provide the requested feature.
- Use: We use face data exclusively to produce and deliver the AI result you request. We do not use it for biometric identification, identity verification, facial recognition, profiling, advertising targeting, or model training.
- Disclosure and sharing: We do not sell face data or share it with data brokers or third-party AI services. Face-containing content and related task data are processed only on infrastructure we control and on servers operated by our development team. We do not send uploaded photos, prompts, or face data to any third-party AI service.
- Storage: Face data may be stored temporarily on your device and on our own servers while the requested result is generated and delivered. We do not store face data on, or transmit it to, third-party AI platforms.
- Retention: Uploaded source content and generated results containing facial information are automatically deleted from our servers within 7 days after processing completion. For failed or abandoned tasks, deletion occurs within 7 days after the task ends or expires. You may request earlier deletion at any time; we process deletion requests within 30 days.
For additional information about face data storage, sharing, retention, and deletion, see Sections 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8.
1.3 Account, Device, and Service Information
We process account or anonymous user identifiers, session information, device model, operating system and app versions, network information such as IP address, task identifiers, error reports, and service interaction records to operate and protect the app. If you contact support, we receive your email address and any information you include in your message.
1.4 Purchases and Usage Events
We process subscription status, credit balances, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase verification information, and relevant purchase amounts and currencies. Apple processes App Store payments; we do not receive your full payment card details. We also collect app interaction events, such as app launches, registration, paywall interactions, and subscription events, to understand service use and measure performance. These records may be linked to app or device identifiers and are not necessarily anonymous.
1.5 Advertising Identifier
With your permission through Apple's AppTrackingTransparency framework, we may access the advertising identifier (IDFA) for advertising attribution and performance measurement. See Section 6 for your choices.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide requested AI image and video features and deliver generated results.
- Maintain sessions, task history, subscriptions, purchases, and credit balances.
- Respond to support inquiries and privacy or deletion requests.
- Diagnose errors, maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve app reliability.
- Understand app usage and measure advertising performance, subject to applicable consent requirements.
- Meet applicable legal obligations and resolve transaction disputes.
Your photos, videos, prompts, and face data are used solely to provide your requested creative features. We do not use this content to train AI models.
3. AI Processing on Our Own Servers
Pixi AI provides AI-based creative features using models and processing infrastructure operated and controlled by our development team. AI image and video generation is performed on our own servers using models operated by our team. Submitted content, prompts, technical task parameters, and result-related metadata are processed to generate and deliver the result you request.
We do not send your photos, prompts, face data, or other user-generated content to any third-party AI service. We do not use external AI providers for any AI generation or processing path.
Non-AI providers may process limited operational data for authentication, analytics, attribution, payments, or delivery of app assets. They do not receive your uploaded photos, videos, prompts, or face data for AI model inference. See Section 7.
4. Data Retention
User content and face data: Uploaded photos, videos, prompts, and generated media, including images and videos containing facial information, are automatically deleted from our servers within 7 days after processing completion. Content associated with failed or abandoned tasks is deleted within 7 days after the task ends or expires. This deadline applies to server-held content copies, including temporary processing copies.
Deletion requests: You may request deletion at any time using Section 5. We process requests within 30 days. A deletion request does not extend the shorter automatic content-deletion period.
Other records: Account information, subscription entitlements, credit records, and task metadata are retained while needed to provide the service. We retain limited technical logs only for necessary security and troubleshooting purposes. Transaction or dispute records may be kept longer where required by applicable law; retained records are limited to what is necessary for that purpose.
Device copies: Results you save to your photo library remain under your control until you delete them. Server deletion does not remove files you exported, shared, or backed up yourself. You can remove local app data by deleting the app and manage saved media through your device's Photos app.
5. Your Rights and Deletion Requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. You may also contact the relevant data protection authority with a complaint.
To request deletion of your content or account-related information, email tranvanhai8009@icloud.com with the subject "Pixi AI Data Deletion." Include your app user ID or task ID if available so we can locate the relevant records. Do not send passwords or full payment details. We may request limited additional information to verify that you are entitled to make the request.
We will process deletion requests within 30 days. If a legal obligation requires retention of limited records, we will explain the exception where permitted. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully performed. You may stop submitting content and change device permissions at any time.
Deleting app data or requesting account deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account's subscription settings.
6. Permissions and App Tracking Transparency
We request your permission through Apple's AppTrackingTransparency framework before accessing IDFA or carrying out tracking that requires this permission. You may decline tracking and continue to use the app's core creative features. You can change your choice in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Operational analytics and service records that do not require tracking permission may still be processed to run and maintain the service. Denying tracking permission does not mean that no technical or usage data is collected.
You choose which media to submit using the system picker. If photo-library or camera access is requested for a feature, you can manage that permission in your device settings. Saving a result to Photos may require permission to add media.
7. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
Pixi AI does not use any third-party AI services. No user data, including photos, videos, face data, or prompts, is sent to external AI providers. We do not share your content, including images containing faces, with any third-party AI service.
We use non-AI services to support app operation, including:
- Backend infrastructure: Supabase supports backend access and service operations under our configuration. Operational information may include account identifiers, session information, and task metadata. AI inference and face-containing content remain on infrastructure controlled by our team.
- Analytics and attribution: Adjust and Meta/Facebook support measurement of installs, sessions, registration, and subscription events. Depending on the event and your permissions, data may include device or app identifiers, technical information, product and transaction identifiers, and purchase amounts or currencies. We do not provide these services with your uploaded media, prompts, or face data.
- Payments: Apple processes in-app purchases and subscriptions. Purchase verification and entitlement records are used to provide the products you buy.
Providers may process information only as appropriate to their role and subject to applicable privacy obligations. We do not sell your personal information or provide face data to data brokers. We may disclose limited information when legally required, to protect rights and service security, or as part of a business transfer subject to continuing privacy protections. These circumstances do not authorize sending your content to third-party AI services.
8. Data Storage and Security
User content and face data are processed and temporarily stored on servers operated and controlled by our development team. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location and the location of our infrastructure and operational providers, information may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use applicable safeguards for international transfers. The restrictions on third-party AI processing described in this policy apply regardless of processing location.
9. Children's Privacy
Pixi AI is not intended for children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and delete that information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our service or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before implementing a material change.
